So, not too sure why, but the last dream I spent 2 years making to be original and all that crap, didn't fair so well. So While I was looking for things to make better about that dream, I had a whole other passion for a new map to make.

I always wanted to focus on the harsh true hard living of the African wild animals, so I think it's time I execute my ideas.

Basically, I've seen a lot of savannah dreams, focusing mainly on lions and other types of big cat predators, however I haven't seen any mixed African Biomes, nor have I see elephants, Namibian horses, wild asses, etc. So! Without further ado, I am attempting another dream! This time I chose not only to go semi original on the items, and avatars, but I want to go 100% original, or at least try to.

Everything you see here I did in the past few days on and off, but I plan to move (hopefully) a lot quicker than I did with Hollowood.

This dream will feature savannah, desert, plains, mountains, and even wetland to jungle biomes which will be home to the following species:
• African Elephants
• African Lions (male)
• African Lions (female)
• Lion Cubs (that may have to be a universal cub avatar with hyenas and wolves)
• Cheetas/Leopards
• Hyenas
• Ethiopian Wolves (Can also be rped as any breed of wolf, so long as it has a decent backstory.)
• **African Wild Dogs (Can also be rped as any breed of canine, so long as it has a decent backstory.)
• Zebras/Somali Wild
• Wild NamibianWarmblood Horses (Can also be RPed as any breed you'd like, so long as it has a decent back story).
• Equine Foals (for horses/zebras/wildasses)
• Giraffes
• Wildebeest
• Thompson Gazelle
• African Buffalo
• Crocodiles
• Rhinoceros
• Hippopotamuses
• Primates (species universal to any in Africa)


For smaller species:
Bats
Meerkats (can double up as lemurs and other small creatures with similar body types)

Possible Humans?:
African tribal avatars? Possibly?

I have plans for other species, but I have to take a universal vote as to what would be RPed the most, so I know which avatars get the non-digoed spaces. I am also raising GDs to get a SS subscription, so I can throw in 4 locals. If you would like to donate scales to make this possible, let me know

The dream has a plot, and basically it's warfare (obviously) for survival and status. It's not at all, unmerited warfare, it is a battle for land. Lion prides will have to earn their spot on territory, not just by OOC application, and so will every other specie. The point of the dream is survival of the fittest, as is the real world. Characters may also battle for status as well.

Don't be frightened if you are a more laid back, friendly type RPer, there is plenty of room on the map for non-aggressive characters. For example, if you are not into fighting, try joining a pride that tends to have high status and does not get challenged by others frequently.

I don't want to give out too many details, because I think I've said enough, but I want to go public with the idea instead of keeping it all to myself. The reason for this is because this dream is my biggest EVER project concerning Furcadia, and will take up a lot of my personal time where I shouldn't be using it (haha I always procrastinate). Anyway, I want to make sure this is a dream that would trigger the interest of people to make a primary RPing dream.

I'd appreciate if you do say you want to RP here, that you WILL actually come when the dream is ready. I had a lot of people tell me with my past dream that they'd totally come, and all that, and they never showed face. So, I expect you to stick to your word

I'm open to suggestions, as always. Feel free to suggest ideas, and by all means if you are good at DS and/or patches and want to contribute by all means, please! I want to make this a community effort, so any help is great!

I know this type of dream HAS been done before in a sense with lion prides and some of the species, but I plan to reinvent some things with this map. It's not set for 1 biome. It would be considered "all of Africa" and the species are NOT limited to just what limited avatar options Furcadia will let me include. I am all open for new species not native to Africa, so long as there is a substantial reason and backing story to it.

The type of RP would be advanced in a sense of descriptiveness and your character has to be able to legitimately defend itself, as it would in the wild. Though all new RPers are welcome, everyone has to start and learn from somewhere
